While they have commercial versions available, the free versions for Windows and MacOS both work very well. openoffice.org OpenOffice is a completely Free / OpenSource Microsoft Office Compatible Suite of applications. This is great for students, small businesses or home users that can't afford to purchase a full Office Suite along with the endless upgrade cycle. Menu's are a bit different, so a learning curve is there, but you can open and save most Microsoft Office files such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. gimp.org Free / Open Source Photoshop Like Image Editor called GIMP! This is a very powerful Image Editor that is very popular and powerful.
