What About SEO and Digital Marketing?

Currently, Sac City Tech does not offer SEO or other Marketing Related Services. However, while we do not offer these services, due to the tools we use, our websites are SEO Friendly which means that as they are listed on Google and other search engines, there should not be issues.

What Software & Technologies does Sac City Tech Use to Build Websites?

Simply put, we use the appropriate tools and technologies to do the job in the most efficient and cost effective way. This provides you with a top quality product for a reasonable and competitive price.

Some of the tools we primarily use  Wordpress, HTML & PHP. Approximately 30% of the websites on the internet are built with WordPress.

We can do logos and banners. We can also provide skilled and experienced photography services for your Business/Executive style portraits and other Commercial Photography needs, including photos of your business location, workers in action, product photos, and more.

There a many services and tools I can use to build my website myself, why should I hire Sac City Tech?

Of course there many services and tools that are available that will allow you to build  your own website. If you are comfortable doing that and can afford the time, that may be best for you.

However, it’s important to understand that there are many factors in building, setting up and maintaining a website that many people do not realize. When you hire Sac City Tech, we handle everything about your website. Things like the following:

Can you fix my current website designed and hosted by someone else?

This would be a custom service that would be determined after collecting the required information. In many cases, it would be more cost effective for you to just have us design a new site that meets your requirements.

What is the Pricing for your Websites, Hosting and other services?

You can view some of the starting prices for websites on our Pricing Page. However these are starting prices and not guaranteed final prices. Your requirements may very well come in at these prices, but it really depends on your requirements and needs. The best way to get an accurate price is to discuss with us your exact requirements and let us build you a quote. If you are unsure of what you need, we can help you with that in our discussion. How do I get support for my Website?

Please use the Support Request page to send your support issues or questions. If needed, we may request that you send us screenshots, and other information about your issue. When ever you  encounter errors, it’s  best to get a screenshot if at all possible, or write down the exact error and information on the screen to help us better understand the problem. You  can use google to find out how to capture screen shots from your computer, operating  system or mobile device.

Can Sac City Tech Build an eCommerce Site?

Yes. The cost will depend on your needs and the complexity of the site. To discuss and find out more, please contact us.

Can Sac City Tech Provide 24 x 7 Support?

No we do not provide 24×7 Support

Our typical client does not require this type of service. 24×7 Support is usually a medium to large business / enterprise situation which is currently outside of our scope. While we may be able respond and correct issues within our control in a few hours, you should expect a typical turn around time of between 24 to 48 Hours.

Our Normal Business Hours are 8am-5pm Pacific Time, Monday – Friday. Depending upon your situation and needs, we may offer occasional outside of normal business hour support on a case by case basis. This is by appointment only and will need to be planned in advance. There will be additional cost for this type of service and it is typically not available on a regular reoccurring basis.

What if my website is down?

If your website was running the last time any changes or updates were made, it is likely not an issue with your website code. There could be a number of reasons that you are unable to access the site that are outside of our control. Before sending a message for support, please insure that you have done the following:

1) Try accessing the site from different computers, browsers and a smart phone or mobile device using a Cellular Network if possible. If any of these work, your website and hosting account are most likely fine, and is not down. This may indicate other issues.

2) If possible, have a friend try accessing your site or go to someplace that has free Wi-Fi and try again.

Some things to keep in mind:

  • There are many servers and systems on the Internet that website visitors pass through to get to your site. Some paths may be down at any given time causing issues for some viewers and not others that are likely going down a different path.
  • Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) could be having issues.
  • Your office or home router, computer or devices could be having issues.

You may need to contact your hosting company if none of the above has helped to isolate the problem if it looks like a hosting issue. We can assist with this at a reasonable hourly rate, however your hosting company may be fully responsible for correcting the issue and the length of the downtime. With suspected hosting issues, we encourage our clients to contact their hosting company support first as they will know if they are having issues.

We are happy to help resolve issues for our website clients, but please insure you have looked at the above and have done any testing that you can before contacting us for support.
